You may find yourself in the situation where you've gotten stuck and the game saved you in this stuck location, or maybe you just want to start over. The best thing to do in this situation is to delete your savegame data. To do that simply navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\YoreVR\YoreVR\Saved\data and delete the contents.

In the future we will have a teleport home command to get you home safe and sound but for now this should get you back on track.

Sorry for being flippant, but "\YoreVR\YoreVR\" the duplicate directory seems to have been handed down from the department of redundancy department. Is that so you could be like valley girl for sure for sure?

Configuration settings have always been an interesting topic for me --how does one deal with default settings, how does one persist them, how does one re-constitute them later if settings have been removed, added or their types changed?

It happens to all software developers, we want to be able to save the state in which the player is working, but then have to deal with updates. How about using a JSON configuration file to make it extremely extensible and one can have code to reconcile the differences.
